Mutter Slater:  Then ....

archive_mut_bill_jim.JPG (17869 bytes) A quick  chat with Billy and Jim... .  Now, there was a time when Mr Warren always appeared on stage in a pair of carpet slippers.  I know what happened to those slippers because Mut told me.  In a car-park outside a service station, Mut and Bill decided the offending smelly objects required a holiday and popped them on the back of a lorry bound for Scotland.  The slippers were last seen heading down the motorway towards John 'O Groats ....

Dress sense was never a strength, now was it?  Flute-wise, however, Mr Slater is quite something else.

Musician...front man....clown....  Mutter was all these things.  Once developed, such skills are never lost.

These days, Mut's back on stage with a new band.  ... Little Dixie And The Kickass Rhythm Section ...
